How a Savings withdrawal works
Request a withdrawal
Choose the pool and the amount in the app. You can submit a request at any time.
Funds leave the strategy
The requested amount is withdrawn from the on-chain strategy used by your pool.
Settlement
Complete requests are normally settled within 48 calendar hours.
Network confirmation
Final confirmation on the blockchain may take longer depending on network conditions.
Why settlement is not instant
Your USDC first enters a secure multisignature wallet operated by Coinstancy before being deployed into the selected on-chain strategies. A withdrawal therefore has to be taken out of those strategies and processed before it is settled. In stressed markets, a protocol may not have enough available liquidity to process withdrawals immediately, which can delay settlement.

Coinstancy may arrange additional cover for selected protocol exposures. When a policy is active, it can address eligible incidents within its stated terms, limits and dates.
